Linear floor axes

  • ALS
  • ALSP

Whether you are an automation engineer, a robot distributor or an integrator, Lucas’s technology and expertise in linear axes can help you conquer new markets.

INCREASED RANGE

Lucas linear axes (7th axis for robots) increase polyarticulated robots’ range so that they can carry out their activity over long distances.

PRECISE, QUICK AND DYNAMIC

The LUCAS range allows all the polyarticulated robots on the market to move precisely, quickly and dynamically. Several carriages can work on one rail at the same time, whether collaboratively or to improve productivity.

A RANGE OF OPTIONS

The beams may be extended through joining to another beam even after installation. There are various options available: robot chair, coupled carriage, ATEX version…

ALSP: PROTECTED LINEAR FLOOR AXES

Characteristics

Protected/walkable axes, whether high (on pillars, like the ALEP model) or on the floor (ALSP model), are the product of Lucas’s vast experience in terms of ergonomics (walkability, sunken installation, etc.) and specific environments (aggressive, ATEX, etc.)

Key points

  • Protected axes are the ideal solution when bellows are not enough. They ensure:
Protection of the axes against overspray in painting booths(see application) while limiting the contamination bellows generate.
What is more, they do not affect the air flow in painting booths thanks to their design, which is easily integrable into these booths (doghouse)
  • Protection of the axis against direct attacks during shot blasting (bellows would not last long in this case).
Perfect integration into a production line with sunken installation or integration into a superstructure.
