LUCAS expands it’s horizons with a 1,500 m² extension
Innovation and growth are in the LUCAS DNA, and today we’re delighted to unveil a new chapter in our history with the expansion of our factory by 1,500 m². This strategic expansion represents much more than just additional space; it’s a key step in realising our ambitions for Industry 4.0 projects.
Redefining sheet metal fabrication
Among the initiatives that will benefit from this expansion is the “Atelier Tôlerie 4.0” project. By investing in cutting-edge technologies, modern equipment and innovative manufacturing processes, we will be able to push back the boundaries of sheet metal fabrication. This evolution in our production process will enable us to provide more advanced and tailored solutions to our customers, while improving operational efficiency.
Our plant is the first to be equipped with these solutions and we are delighted to be able to introduce them to our future customers.
Consolidating our expertise
The extension of our factory also gives us the opportunity to consolidate our know-how in the field of robotics with LUCAS linear axes and robotic gantries. Research and development has always been at the heart of our approach, and this extra space gives us the scope we need to innovate further and hone our skills. We are determined to create even more powerful and precise robotic solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Beyond these innovative projects, we reaffirm our commitment to manufacturing state-of-the-art machines for the cardboard industry. We recognise the importance of staying at the forefront of technology to meet our customer’s ever-increasing demands.
